At work enjoying cool air and the shade of trees (for a change).
Our botanists at work in the holm-oak forest on Zannone island: vegetation monitoring within permanent plots inside and outside the fence that has been planned and now is ready to be built.
Many edible mushrooms (some even very good), very few plant species. Yet, there will be hope for Smilax aspera and Erica arborea, once mouflons are kept away from them…
