Plants of interest in coastal environments. Between conservation and biological invasions.
This is the title of a new publication ‘PonDerat’. As part of the after-LIFE actions, in fact, the Department of Environmental Biology of the Sapienza University of Rome has published a brochure on plants of interest in coastal environments on the islands of Ventotene and Santo Stefano. By plants of interest is meant both plant species worthy of conservation and species that, as invasive or potentially so, may threaten the rich biodiversity of these islands.
The brochure, for now only in Italian, is available in the Resources>Download section.
The Area Marina Protetta - Riserva Naturale Statale delle Isole di Ventotene e Santo Stefano will distribute the printed materials on the islands.
